[ Artist Statement ]
Sometimes the imprint leaves the impression of something that goes far beyond the ordinary experience. Not only because the imprint was somehow kept from erasing but also because something let it last up to this moment. Sometimes the imprint is the trace. The trace of sound squeezed and pinched deep into the surface. Just like an outline of the spell. The imprint is The Poem – blinded with intention and then veiled for contemplation. And now it’s readers turn.
This work appears both online and in print.
